This dynamic training program will help meet the current community demands for highly trained individuals, capable of taking leadership roles in health informatics.The AHIFP is designed to increase leadership capability in the health informatics workforce as well as create career pathways for health informatics professionals. It involves a three-year full-time health informatics doctorate, one year of paid work experience, plus supplementary learning (with a part-time equivalent).
